For Reflection:
- In the parable of the sower, Jesus plants the message of the kingdom into people’s hearts, which are like a hard-packed path, like rocky ground, like tangled with thorns, or like good soil. Which of these types of ground best represents your heart?
- According to Jesus’ parable of the weeds, what happens to the grain and what happens to the weeds?
- How do mustard seeds, yeast, hidden treasure and a fine pearl represent the kingdom of heaven?
Prayer Starters:
P - Praise: Lord, You are the revealer of mysteries. Your wisdom and Your ways are like fine pearls, like hidden treasure.
R - Repent: Forgive me for chasing things of lesser value. Forgive me for ignoring Your call to chase after You.
A - Ask: Teach me Your ways. Reveal Your mysteries to me.
Y - Yield: I am listening, and I will seek You will all my heart.
