Take a few minutes today to read Matthew 19:1-30.
For Reflection:
- The Pharisees argued with Jesus about His stance on divorce and remarriage. Which of Jesus’ teachings do you have difficulty with, and how will you seek to resolve your position with His?
- The rich young man talking with Jesus had a limit to how much he would do for God. What is your current limit, and are you willing to consider doing more for the Lord and for others?
- What did Jesus mean when he said, “many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first”?
Prayer Starters:
P - Praise: Lord, you are full of wisdom, righteousness and goodness. Nothing evil or impure comes from You.
R - Repent: Forgive me for going against Your commands. Cleanse me of my selfish thoughts and decisions.
A - Ask: Give me a clean heart that I may follow You. Teach me Your ways, and give me the strength to live for You.
Y - Yield: In faith, I will put Your teachings into practice. I will obey You and follow Your ways.
Have A Great Day!
